Work Environment

This position is designed for a remote work setting, however, you will be engaging closely with our Detox Center, a facility dedicated to providing support for individuals undergoing substance withdrawal and recovery. Our virtual team collaborates effectively through advanced telehealth platforms, ensuring that you have the tools necessary to deliver exceptional care from any location.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' unique challenges and strengths, laying the groundwork for personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, to implement effective therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary treatment team to provide comprehensive care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge to better navigate mental health issues.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in mental health research, integrating new insights into your practice to enhance client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals in various stages of recovery from substance use disorders, as well as those dealing with co-occurring mental health issues. The clients you serve may come from diverse backgrounds, each with unique stories and challenges. The goal is to empower them through targeted therapeutic interventions, helping them regain control over their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from a regionally accredited institution.
• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a mental health or substance use treatment setting.
• Proficiency in solution-focused and trauma-informed therapy techniques.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and families alike.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, enabling you to assess client needs effectively.

Preferred Experience
