• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to determine their developmental needs and objectives.
• Participate in the creation and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child’s unique requirements.
• Regularly monitor and report on progress and outcomes, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure maximum efficacy of services provided.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop strategies that support families in enhancing their children’s developmental growth.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and your colleagues to create a nurturing and supportive environment.
• Implement coaching models and natural environment teaching methodologies to facilitate effective learning experiences.
• Adhere to all applicable federal and state regulations to ensure compliance and safety for all individuals served.
• Provide necessary resources and training to families aimed at optimizing their engagement in their child’s development.

Your primary focus will be on infants and toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities, operating within our Children's Services program. You will provide support to families of young children during a pivotal time in their lives, ensuring these children gain crucial skills in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication areas. Your role is vital in helping families navigate early intervention services, enhancing the child’s learning potential.

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required.
• Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) through the Department of Public Health is essential.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary for any potential community engagement activities.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt interventions to diverse learning styles, meeting the individualized treatment plan needs of each child.
• A minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings is preferred.
• Commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices to foster child development.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for handling multiple families and their needs.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit are vital for teamwork and effective service delivery.

Experience with evidence-based practices in early childhood development and a proven ability to engage with families and caregivers effectively will be advantageous. Familiarity with creating IFSPs and applying coaching methods in real-world settings is a plus.
