Forbes Advisor is looking for a full-time Director of Business Development. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Business Development and support the Business Development team in identifying, executing and optimizing commercial growth opportunities across financial services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the Sr. Director of Business Development in achieving revenue, growth and profitability across financial services partnerships, including banking, credit cards, lending, and other fintech categories.
  • Collaborate closely with vertical managers, editorial teams, product, and commercial stakeholders to identify and execute growth opportunities across the Forbes Advisor financial services portfolio.
  • Planning, identifying and successfully onboarding new advertisers and products to deliver against commercial targets and ROI.
  • Build strong relationships with affiliate networks and media agencies to unlock new advertiser opportunities that complement Forbes Advisor portfolio of properties.
  • Responsible for the ongoing relationship, account management and optimization of Forbes Advisor publisher partnerships, ensuring all relevant growth opportunities are identified.
  • Driving improvements in business development processes, including partner performance tracking, reporting, campaign optimization, and go-to-market execution to support scalable growth across the financial services business.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years in a client facing, management role
  • Strong track record of building and cultivating relationships with partners across a range of verticals
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and can work autonomously
  • Is process driven and possesses high attention to detail
  • Experience across additional digital marketing channels, including affiliate marketing, financial services, social media, and native advertising, is a plus
  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret performance data and identify actionable insights.
  • Experience with Tableau and other data visualization, analytics, and reporting platforms is a plus
  • Familiarity with AI tools, large language models (LLMs), and their application in marketing, content, or business strategy is also a plus.
