A Remote Director of Infrastructure oversees the planning, implementation, and maintenance of a company's IT infrastructure while working remotely. This role includes managing teams responsible for networks, servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and scalable. The director collaborates with other departments to align technology strategies with business goals, manages budgets, and develops policies for infrastructure operations. Outstanding communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills are crucial for managing distributed teams and aligning technology initiatives with business goals. These skills and qualities ensure secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure operations that support the organization's success in a remote environment.

Who: Strong, stable, nine-figure live entertainment startup backed by high-profile founders
What: CPA Controller leading event-level financial oversight, budgeting, and accounting operations
When: Immediate need

Our client, a five-year-old high-growth company producing concerts, comedy shows, and sporting events, is seeking a hands-on CPA Controller with 7-10 years of experience in live event or production-based accounting.
This individual will play a critical role in bringing accounting operations fully in-house while leading financial oversight across all live productions. The Controller will have direct visibility into event-level financial performance and will partner closely with leadership to forecast, budget, and evaluate profitability across each production.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cost forecasting and budgeting for live events (venue rental, staging, lighting, production, etc.)
  • Perform project-based accounting and financial modeling to determine event profitability

  • 7-10 years of accounting experience, ideally within live events, concerts, production studios, television production, or sports production
  • Strong cost forecasting and budgeting experience in production-based environments
  • Experience with project accounting and event-level reconciliation
  • Comfortable in a demanding, early-stage startup environment
  • Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset
  • Willingness to work extended hours and occasional weekends as events require

This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role at a company experiencing rapid growth, where your financial oversight will directly influence the success and scalability of major live productions.
