Job Description
The Healthcare Analytics Solutions (HAS) Marketing Director is a marketing leader for the Healthcare Analytics Solutions business and strategic growth partner to the HAS General Manager. The Director will develop marketing insights and strategic marketing plans to fulfill business growth priorities; drive execution through collaboration across HAS sales and business development teams; liaise across the Quest Enterprise to support HAS development plans.
Healthcare Analytics Solutions is a high-growth business looking to continue its growth acceleration. Healthcare Analytics Solutions provides data, analytics and services to 5 business segments: Pharma, Clinical Trials, Health Systems, Health Plans and Public Health.
Responsibilities
• Oversee development and delivery of Healthcare Analytics Solutions (HAS) marketing plan
• Develop tactics based on marketing plan to drive awareness of Quest Diagnostics and drive qualified leads
• Identify and represent customer and market insights for HAS team
• Track market trends and derive competitive strategy and differentiation by product type
• Identify product/service opportunities and work across HAS business to address them
• Ensure translation and representation of market opportunities in marketing strategies
• Partner with internal Quest Business partners (Health Systems, Health Plans, Consumer, HCP, Pharma Services) to deploy product-specific programming
• Sales support content around specific solutions
• Conduct research and distill customer data and analytics into tactical development
• Provide guidance on call point requirements and develop and execute tactics aligned to the buyer's journey
• Integrate voice of customer into marketing strategies and tactics
• Drive a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels including but not limited to content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, and campaign performance analysis
• Build relationships and partner with internal (business partners, peers) and external stakeholders (key industry players, agencies and vendors)
• Manage budget and allocate/invest funds wisely
• Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree, Business degree preferred
• Minimum 10 years success in a marketing role;
• 5+ years healthcare industry experience preferred;
• Healthcare technology experience a plus
• Up to 30% business travel required
• Superior strategic thinking and analytical skills to synthesize market/customer insights into prioritized marketing opportunities
• Strong capabilities in analyzing data to demonstrate quantifiable opportunities or results
• Superior marketing capabilities to design and execute marketing strategies and tactics to maximize opportunities to different customer types such as Pharma, Public Health, Hospitals, and Patients
• Team oriented - ability to lead diverse, cross functional teams and in a matrix environment
• Superior communication skills including ability to deliver formal business presentations to executive leadership
• Initiative - ability to independently problem solve and find resolutions
• Core marketing capabilities to build and lead marketing strategies and tactics to maximize opportunities
