This position is uniquely structured as a remote role, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still engaging with colleagues and clients through virtual platforms. Working collaboratively with a diverse team of health professionals, you will have access to ongoing support and resources as we collectively strive to improve mental health outcomes in our community. You’ll utilize teletherapy tools to conduct sessions and maintain communication effectively, reinforcing the clinic’s commitment to modern and flexible therapeutic approaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate healing and growth.
  • Provide couples therapy to help partners navigate relational difficulties, focusing on communication strategies and conflict resolution.
  • Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at improving dynamics and addressing issues through collaborative discussions and problem-solving techniques.
  • Develop customized treatment plans that reflect the goals and aspirations of clients, integrating various therapeutic modalities as appropriate.
  • Assess and diagnose mental health disorders, employing an array of psychological tools and assessments to guide therapeutic interventions.
  • Regularly collaborate with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a coordinated approach to care when additional resources or specialties are required.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records to document progress and comply with legal and ethical requirements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and trauma. Many clients are from various cultural backgrounds, making cultural competence a vital component of therapeutic practice at Proactive Minds. You will have the opportunity to employ innovative therapy techniques that account for each client’s distinctive context and experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, providing therapy services to individuals and families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build trust and rapport with clients effectively.
  • A demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships while maintaining the capacity to work independently.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a remote counseling setting, with familiarity in telehealth platforms and methodologies.
  • Background in various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Family Systems Therapy.
  • Understanding of community health resources and the ability to navigate clients to ancillary services as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • A 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching to help you save for your future.
  • Paid time off, including holidays, to promote work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for professional development and continuing education to enhance your skills and maintain licensure.
  • Supportive resources for obtaining professional recommendations and networking within the field.
  • A flexible schedule that allows you to create a work routine that aligns with your personal and professional commitments.

At Proactive Minds Counseling Services, we are invested in your growth as a clinician. You will have access to mentorship and supervision opportunities to further refine your skills and expand your professional horizons. As our organization continues to grow, there will be possibilities for leadership roles and special project involvement, allowing you to shape your career path in alignment with your areas of interest.
