Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand clients' emotional and behavioral concerns and accurately diagnose any disorders they may experience.
• Use evidence-based practices to develop customized treatment plans aimed at addressing the unique needs and goals of each client, allowing for measurable progress and effective outcomes.
• Provide individual, couple, and group counseling sessions that facilitate understanding, healing, and growth.
• Teach clients essential coping mechanisms and self-care strategies to empower them in managing their mental health outside of therapy sessions.
• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to align with their evolving needs and circumstances.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians and psychiatrists, to offer comprehensive, holistic support tailored to each client's situation.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients range from children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, grief, trauma, and relationship difficulties. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work closely with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, offering culturally sensitive care and understanding the unique social and developmental contexts that influence mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• A valid state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is essential for this role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and facilitate effective therapeutic relationships.
• An empathetic, non-judgmental approach to counseling that fosters trust and promotes open dialogue.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. We are committed to supporting our counselors with administrative assistance in billing and documentation processes, enabling you to focus more on client care.
