Transcendent Healing Therapeutic Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools.
  • Collaborate with clients to design and implement individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and aspirations.
  • Employ evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in delivering individualized care.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-management strategies.
  • Maintain ongoing monitoring of client progress using measurable outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans that encompass both medical and therapeutic interventions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and treatment methodologies in the field of mental health, specifically concerning mood disorders.
  • Document all treatment activities, assessments, and client interactions in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Engage in peer consultations and contribute to team meetings aimed at enhancing clinical practices and sharing insights.
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of clients, working towards destigmatizing mental health issues in the larger community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with clients facing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, each bringing unique challenges and perspectives. Your role will be instrumental in providing these individuals with the tools and support they need to navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is mandatory.
  • At least two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders is preferred.
  • Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, is highly regarded.
  • Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals is essential.
  • Demonstrated history of achieving positive patient outcomes in effective treatment for mood disorders.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds are required.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient settings with a focus on individual and group therapy for mood disorders.
  • Previous training in advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities, particularly relating to mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000 per year, complemented by performance-based bonuses. Additional benefits include a sign-on bonus upon hire.
