Job description

About High Scale
We're High Scale - a future-focused, data-obsessed agency revolutionizing video advertising on TV and social media. Think Amazon's obsession with customer experience meets SpaceX's fearless ambition-that's the DNA behind everything we do.
Our 120-person team of creatives, strategists, and innovators produces thousands of high-impact campaigns weekly for the world's leading lifestyle, fashion, beauty, and DTC brands. With 50,000 sq. ft. of DTLA studios and a global influencer network, we're ready to 10x our output in 2026-and we need a Social Media Manager who can build, engage, and grow our brand presence across all digital channels.
Why This Role Matters
Brand perception, community engagement, and cultural relevance are your playground. As the Social Media Manager, you are the voice and pulse of High Scale's brand. You'll be the bridge between our agency's groundbreaking work and the wider industry, translating our internal innovation into a compelling public narrative. You'll manage our social channels, build an engaged community, and ensure our brand feels like a VIP in every digital interaction.
Your work will directly impact our brand authority, inbound leads, and our reputation as industry leaders. If you thrive on building communities and telling powerful brand stories, this is your launchpad.
What You'll Do
  1. Own Our Social Channels
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for High Scale's brand (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
    • Create, curate, and post engaging content daily that showcases our work, culture, and expertise.
    • Manage the content calendar, ensuring a consistent and high-quality brand presence.
  2. Build & Engage Our Community
    • Serve as the primary voice of the brand, actively responding to comments, DMs, and mentions.
    • Proactively engage with industry leaders, potential clients, and creative partners to build relationships.
    • Develop and implement strategies to grow our follower base and increase engagement rates.
  3. Coordinate Content Creation
    • Work closely with our internal creative, production, and marketing teams to source and repackage campaign highlights, case studies, and behind-the-scenes content.
    • Translate complex agency wins and data into simple, shareable, and impactful social posts.
  4. Represent the Brand & Analyze Trends
    • Act as an ambassador for High Scale, embodying our innovative and data-obsessed culture.
    • Provide insights on industry trends, platform changes, and competitor activity.
    • Track and report on key social media KPIs, using data to refine and optimize your strategy.

Who You Are
  1. A B2B & Creative Storyteller
    • 3-6 years of experience in social media management, preferably for a creative agency, media company, or tech brand.
    • Proven track record of growing and managing professional social media accounts, especially on LinkedIn and Instagram.
  2. Organized & Strategic
    • You can juggle multiple platforms, content formats, and priorities without breaking a sweat.
    • Skilled at building content calendars, managing assets, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  3. Excellent Communicator
    • Clear, confident, and persuasive in both written and verbal communication (English fluency required; Spanish is a major plus).
    • You have a sharp, witty, and professional writing style adaptable to different platforms.
  4. Collaborative & Adaptable
    • Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
    • Able to work with creative, production, and leadership teams to execute ambitious brand goals.
  5. Data-Driven
    • Track KPIs (engagement, reach, follower growth, leads) to inform decisions and strategy.
    • Comfortable using social media management and analytics tools to report on performance efficiently.

Perks & Benefits
  • Competitive Compensation: $40,000-$70,000/year
  • Growth Opportunities: Influence the growth of High Scale's brand and collaborate on top-tier campaigns for global brands.
  • Relentless Innovation Culture: Move fast, test constantly, and collaborate with some of the most creative minds in social media and video production.
