If you're a data-driven strategist who's just as comfortable optimizing a paid media budget as you are untangling an analytics dashboard, this role is your chance to shine as a Digital Marketing Manager at Frankel.

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy, execution, and performance of paid digital media, analytics infrastructure, email marketing, and SEO/GEO across an assigned client portfolio. Acting as the digital subject matter expert, this role ensures campaigns are set up for success, measured accurately, and continuously optimized to hit client goals. This role requires a balance of technical fluency, strategic thinking, and clear communication to guide both clients and internal teams.

The Digital Marketing Manager works closely with internal departments to plan and execute integrated digital campaigns. They must be knowledgeable in paid media platforms, marketing technology, and organic search, providing guidance that keeps client digital programs performing at a high level.

The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of the full digital marketing ecosystem. They must be comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.

 

The Basics

Location: Gainesville, FL (Hybrid) or Remote in Select States

Employment Type: Full-Time

NOTE: Only USA-based candidates will be considered for this position. Frankel is unable to provide sponsorship at this time. If based in Gainesville, this hybrid role requires being in the office from Tuesday through Thursday, and Monday and Friday are remote days. We are open to remote candidates.
 

Responsibilities

Digital Media

  • Strategize, launch, optimize, and report on paid digital media campaigns, including paid social, paid search, and programmatic media
  • Integrate CRM intelligence into campaign targeting, segmentation, and optimization
  • Manage budgets and pacing across platforms to ensure efficient spend and delivery against KPIs

Analytics & Reporting

  • Set up and maintain analytics infrastructure using GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Establish and maintain performance dashboards using Google Data Studio (Looker Studio)
  • Translate campaign data into clear, actionable insights for clients and internal teams

SEO/GEO

  • Apply a proven understanding of SEO and GEO best practices to guide client strategy
  • Conduct keyword research and SEO/GEO audits
  • Provide feedback on content marketing to maximize organic search visibility
  • Partner with web development to implement technical best practices

Website Optimization

  • Guide internal teams on best practices related to UX, CRO, SEO/GEO, accessibility, and privacy compliance
  • Identify opportunities to improve site performance and conversion rates
  • Stay current on regulations and ensure client sites remain compliant

Email Marketing

  • Develop email marketing strategy, including segmentation, automation, and journey mapping
  • Oversee email distribution, A/B testing, and performance analysis
  • Continuously refine email programs based on engagement and conversion data

General

  • Monitor industry trends and platform updates relevant to client accounts
  • Maintain accurate documentation of campaign strategy, performance, and optimizations
  • Continuously expand knowledge of digital marketing tools, platforms, and best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 3–6 years' experience in digital marketing, ideally within an agency setting
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
  • Proven experience managing paid social, paid search, and programmatic campaigns
  • Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Data Studio (Looker Studio)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with various teams
  • Reports to the Director of Digital Marketing

Compensation & Pay Transparency 

In compliance with applicable pay transparency laws, Frankel includes the expected salary range for this role. Actual compensation will depend on factors like experience, skills, and internal equity. All full-time employees are eligible for our full benefits package, including medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid parental leave, generous PTO, and more.

The salary range for this position is $70,000–$90,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
