Job description

Geographic Location: Houston, TX (Employee may work from any location in the United States subject to company remote work policy)
Position: Digital Content Developer
Duties: Design, develop, and maintain interactive, user-centric web applications that deliver seamless digital experiences. Focus primarily on front-end technologies while supporting some serverside integrations and emerging AI-driven functionalities. Contribute to building responsive interfaces, optimizing performance, and incorporating intelligent features such as chatbots, recommendation systems, and data-driven personalization. Provide Front-End Development: develop, enhance, and maintain customer-facing web applications and internal tools using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Node.js, JSON, and XML; translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into responsive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible web interfaces; build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to extend application functionality; optimize front-end performance for speed, scalability, and accessibility; and create reusable code libraries and UI components following established development standards. Provide AI and Automation Integration: collaborate with product and AI engineering teams to integrate AIpowered features such as chatbots or conversational assistants to enhance user interaction, personalized recommendations using AI-driven algorithms, and search optimization using semantic or generative AI models; use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT API) to enhance development speed and code quality; implement predictive UI logic or automated testing using AI-based frameworks; contribute to data labeling, model feedback loops, or front-end interfaces for AI model outputs; and stay up to date with AI/ML technologies relevant to front-end applications, such as generative design, NLP-based interactions, and adaptive UI systems. Deliver Collaboration and Standards: partner with back-end engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality digital experiences; participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure delivery of robust and maintainable software; develop unit, integration, and regression tests to maintain code reliability; maintain technical documentation, including design specs, testing reports, and release notes; establish and communicate front-end best practices, coding guidelines, and performance standards. Provide Continuous Improvement: research, prototype, and evaluate emerging front-end and AI frameworks to enhance product capabilities; analyze user data and behavior metrics to suggest data-informed UX improvements; and proactively identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes or improve performance through AI-driven tooling.
Min Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or closely related field, 2 years relevant professional experience, including 2 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery; 2 years of experience with Node.js, JSON/XML data structures, and API integrations; 1 year of experience with AI concepts or practical use of AI-powered development tools; 2 years of experience in responsive design, web accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility; and 1 year of experience with version control (Git) and modern build tools (Webpack, NPM, etc.). Employee may work from any location in the United States subject to company remote work policy.
40 hrs/wk; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Mon-Fri; Salary $84,094 -$104,094/yr.
