• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms affecting clients.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that effectively align with their individual goals and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment alternatives, and effective self-care practices.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on feedback and changing needs.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, partnering with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to offer integrated care solutions.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorders to enhance treatment strategies and client care.

You will be working with a diverse range of clients facing an array of mental health issues, primarily focusing on mood disorders. We aim to provide our clients with the tools and support they need to navigate life's challenges, ultimately leading to improved mental health outcomes. Building a secure and trusted therapeutic relationship with clients is paramount in this role, and a strong emphasis is placed on empathy, respect, and active listening.

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Proven ability to establish secure, trusting relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated empathy, respect, and a nonjudgmental approach to clients' experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to facilitate efficient caseload management and administrative tasks.

• Experience using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including CBT and DBT, ideally within an outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate client documentation and progress notes.
• Prior involvement in interdisciplinary team collaborations and an understanding of integrated care practices.
• A commitment to professional development, particularly in areas concerning addiction counseling and behavioral health advancements.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
