This position allows you to work remotely, providing flexibility that accommodates your personal schedule. You will interact with clients primarily through a telehealth platform, ensuring that high-quality care is accessible to those in need. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Provide a range of outpatient services, including individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling, focusing on promoting recovery and resilience.
• Facilitate intakes, whereby you assess new clients and gather critical information to guide their treatment journey.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to relevant Federal, State, and Center guidelines.
• Prepare and submit reports to external agencies such as courts and schools, ensuring effective communication of patient progress and needs.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, particularly in cases that necessitate hospitalization or further intervention.
• Engage with external agencies and assistance programs to coordinate necessary resources and treatment sessions for patients.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population, including adults and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges. You will support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and more severe mental health conditions. Your ability to establish rapport and trust will be essential in nurturing relationships that foster effective therapy.

• Current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in counseling or mental health services, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques.
• Strong ability to conduct professional evaluations and make informed treatment recommendations.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines impacting mental health treatment and psychiatric admissions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document effectively and communicate with various stakeholders.
• Adept at working independently and collaboratively within a team, contributing positively to the working environment.
• Capable of building and maintaining relationships with clients and their families, ensuring empathy and understanding in all interactions.
• Solid computer literacy, including familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR).

• Experience with evidence-based counseling methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is highly desirable.
• Background in providing telehealth services is preferred, with an understanding of remote care best practices.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000, based on your experience and the number of hours worked.
