• Conducting in-depth nutrition assessments to evaluate patients’ dietary habits, medical history, and lifestyle factors, followed by developing tailored nutrition care plans to meet their individual needs.
• Delivering one-on-one nutrition counseling sessions via telehealth, providing education on carb counting, meal planning, and insulin management practices.
• Monitoring patient progress through regular check-ins, adapting nutrition strategies as necessary, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Performing nutrition-focused physical examinations remotely and analyzing biochemical data to provide an accurate assessment of patients’ nutritional status.
• Staying abreast of the latest nutritional research to inform practice, integrate updates into patient assessments, and contribute to continuous improvement in care protocols.
• Documenting patient interactions and plan outcomes meticulously to comply with regulatory standards and maintain detailed patient records.
• Participating in team meetings to exchange ideas and stay aligned with the clinic’s goals and treatment protocols.

Specializing in diabetes management, you will primarily engage with patients struggling with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, and metabolic syndrome. Our diverse patient pool includes individuals needing help with weight management, food allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, and nutrient deficiencies. You will play a crucial role in empowering patients by equipping them with the knowledge to make informed dietary choices that improve their health outcomes and quality of life.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Active registration as a Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), and valid state licensure as required.
• Thorough understanding of nutrition science and familiarity with diabetes management protocols are essential for success in this position.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for conducting effective patient consultations and maintaining professional relationships.

• Previous experience in a clinical nutrition setting, with a focus on diabetes care and management.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote patient engagement strategies is highly desirable.
• Certification as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or interest in pursuing this credential is considered a plus.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $70,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience. In addition to a robust salary, our benefits package includes:
