Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, focusing on trauma recovery and building resilience.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Provide ongoing support, facilitating therapy sessions that help clients process their trauma and learn coping strategies for everyday life.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care and address the holistic needs of each client.
  • Engage in crisis intervention and respond effectively to trauma-related emergencies.
  • Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development related to trauma-informed care.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy to ensure the highest quality of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes patients struggling with PTSD and other trauma-related disorders. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ensuring optimal care for patients.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technologies.
Preferred Experience
