Role Overview
Our organization is seeking an infrastructure-focused Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance our platform delivery capacity. This role is crucial for supporting and improving our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and environment provisioning. The engineer will operate within a shared services model, providing infrastructure for application teams and ensuring the stability and scalability of our platforms, with a significant focus on AWS-centric environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain cloud infrastructure components, with an emphasis on AWS.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline operations, optimization, and improvements.
  • Assist with environment provisioning and platform delivery tasks.
  • Provide infrastructure stability and operational support for multiple consuming teams.
  • Enable smoother delivery for Identity and Access Management (IAM) and downstream services.
  • Reduce infrastructure delivery bottlenecks and increase platform team scalability.
  • Troubleshoot issues to identify the root cause and reach a resolution.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
  • 5+ years of DevOps experience with a strong focus on infrastructure operations.
  • Proven experience working with application teams to improve velocity.
  • Demonstrated experience operating at an enterprise scale within a shared services or platform engineering environment.

Technical Skills:
  • Deep experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including compute-heavy infrastructure environments and cloud provisioning.
  • Required hands-on expertise with Terraform, including module development and state management.
  • Strong understanding of GitHub, Git workflows, and event-based microservice architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems, specifically implementing and optimizing GitHub Actions workflows.
  • Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python for automation and orchestration.
  • Expertise with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ArgoCD).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems (Okta, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID).
  • Holds an active AWS Certification in Solution Architecture or DevOps Engineering.
  • Holds an active Terraform Associate certification.
  • Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML).
  • Background in healthcare or other regulated industries.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $70.00/hour to $78.00/hour. Please note that the final pay rate will be determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience and qualifications. Additional benefits may be available to eligible employees.
