• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation that meets regulatory standards, utilizing evidence-based screening tools as appropriate.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans, actively participating in all licensing and accreditation processes.
• Act as a liaison to local service systems, state agencies, and community organizations to facilitate access to care and resources for clients.
• Foster open communication channels with stakeholders to promote the mission of Arc Mental Counseling Center and meet contract standards.
• Engage in networking initiatives to secure partnerships and funding opportunities, enhancing the service offerings of our clinic.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, attending conferences and statewide meetings relevant to mental health.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing emotional health challenges, substance use problems, developmental disabilities, and those coping with the effects of acquired brain injuries. The services we provide are tailored to foster independence and promote wellness in the community, ensuring we meet our clients where they are in their recovery journeys.

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• An active LMHC license issued by the Florida state board is essential for this role.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain clinical records and compile related reports efficiently.
• Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills, including the capacity to express ideas clearly and effectively.
• Sound judgment and independent decision-making abilities based on professional knowledge and ethics.

• Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities specific to mental health counseling.
• Familiarity with working in community health settings or clinic environments.
• Experience developing crisis intervention plans and positive behavior support strategies.
