• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Provide crisis intervention and develop pre-crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and risk assessments to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Complete and maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and therapeutic methodologies to inform clinical decisions and improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans, ensuring comprehensive care delivery.
• Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes, striving for excellence in all service areas.
• Act as a liaison with community partners, state agencies, and service systems to advocate for client services and resources.
• Foster open communication with clients, families, and other stakeholders to promote engagement in the treatment process.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including attending conferences and workshops, to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
• Embody the agency’s mission, values, and principles in daily practice while performing any additional duties assigned by the Clinic Director.

The population served at CayLab Behavioral Health includes individuals experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to serious mental illness. Our clients may also face issues related to substance use, developmental disabilities, and the effects of acquired brain injuries. In this role, you will work closely with these diverse individuals, providing compassionate care to help them navigate their unique challenges and pursue recovery and personal growth.

• A Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Current LMHC License issued by the state board is essential for this role.
• Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and preparing relevant reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team setting, fostering a spirit of cooperation.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate clinical and social concepts succinctly.
• A strong capacity for independent judgment and decision-making grounded in professional knowledge and ethical guidelines.

• Experience in a mental health clinic or healthcare setting, providing direct counseling services.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies to enhance client engagement and treatment delivery.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or similar approaches.
