A ServiceNow developer to design, code, debug, test and implement major/difficult programming modifications, changes and new development. Will proactively analyze, recommend and implement solutions to provide continuous system availability and improve performance. Troubleshoots and resolves highly complex and unique system problems, failures and issues.

Preferred: Strong experience with ServiceNow CSDM (Common Service Data Model), including CMDB design, service modeling, Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB governance, and Application Portfolio Management (APM). Experience supporting ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)/Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Vulnerability Response, and Vulnerability Management is highly desired.

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for maintaining and performing continual service improvements on the following implemented modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, DevOps (Agile), SecOps. You will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Work with product owner/stakeholders to build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes and meet business requirements.
  • Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows and business use cases.
  • Performs operational administrative tasks, as needed.
  • Assists with report configuration and maintenance, as needed.
  • Configure and maintain data integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
  • Design/ Develop ServiceNow Forms and Tables as well as Modules.
  • Develop Workflow / Flow Design where required to drive Approvals and Process Lifecycle.
  • Design, create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each (including CMS/Service Portal).
  • Design, create and configure Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow.
  • Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software.
  • Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
  • Researches, tests, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
  • Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
  • Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
  • Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
  • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
  • Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
  • Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Acts as team leader on projects.
  • Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team.
  • Participates in development of software user manuals.
