Position Overview

SGF Global is seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Advisor to support a leading organization in the energy sector. This fully remote contract position is ideal for a senior data center operations professional with extensive experience managing large-scale data center facilities and advising on engineering, operations, and infrastructure design.

In this role, you will provide technical expertise to research and development initiatives, support product development, and help translate customer requirements into functional, scalable data center solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and operational guidance for large-scale data center facilities.
  • Advise engineering and product development teams on data center design, operations, and maintenance best practices.
  • Review engineering plans, facility designs, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct site visits, facility assessments, and inspections as needed.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and translate them into functional design recommendations.
  • Develop and improve engineering, maintenance, and operational procedures.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for mission-critical facilities.
