About the Role
As a UI Developer, you will be a key member of our team responsible for implementing stunning, user-friendly web applications. Using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React and Svelte, you will translate designs from in-house designers and customers into high-quality, enterprise-grade web experiences. This position works in a collaborative team environment and may also involve engaging with clients to plan and execute strategic branding requirements. This position is ideal for a visually-focused developer who prioritizes crafting elegant and maintainable CSS alongside strong JavaScript skills.
How you will contribute:
  • Develop and maintain core products with a strong focus on usability, design, and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Project Managers, and designers to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
  • Develop advanced, branded prototypes for new features and customer experiences.
  • Engage directly with new and existing clients to discuss and plan solutions for their branding requirements.
  • Ensure all code is maintainable, scalable, and cross-browser compatible.
  • Familiarity with web accessibility (WCAG) standards and best practices in all applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of high-quality, maintainable code.

Required Experience/ Skills:
  • 3+ years of professional web development experience.
  • Strong, working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CSS preprocessors like SASS.
  • Good experience with front-end development using modern vanilla JavaScript and frameworks, particularly React and Svelte.
  • Proven ability to write maintainable, scalable, responsive, and cross-browser code.
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Takes ownership, is self-motivated, and a creative thinker.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Works well in a fast-paced, pivoting environment.

  • Experience with client-facing conversations and strategic planning.
