Job description

Position Summary: 

We are seeking experienced Desk Adjusters CAT Support to join our Catastrophe (CAT) Response Team supporting disaster relief efforts in Texas. This is a remote, on-call, as-needed position that is activated when catastrophic events create increased claim volume. Assignments are based on business needs following a CAT event.

Candidates must be prepared to remotely mobilize and begin work within 72 hours of assignment notification.

This position is open to qualified candidates located anywhere in the United States, provided they hold an active Texas All-Lines Adjuster License, regardless of state of residence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle property claims remotely in support of catastrophe response operations.

  • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle personal and/or commercial property claims in accordance with company guidelines and applicable regulations.

  • Review claim documentation, photos, estimates, and supporting materials.

  • Communicate effectively with policyholders, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate claim documentation and meet quality, compliance, and productivity standards.

  • Manage a high-volume workload while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous property claims adjusting experience required.

  • Active Texas All-Lines Adjuster License (required).

  • Desk adjusting experience handling personal and/or commercial property claims.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume claims environment.

  • Must be available for mobilization within 72 hours of assignment activation.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficiency with claims management systems and standard computer applications.

Work Schedule

  • On-call / As Needed

  • Assignments are activated based on catastrophe events and business demand.

  • Candidates are expected to remain available for deployment opportunities and respond promptly when activated.
