• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account the psychological influence of medical conditions on patients’ overall mental health.
• Design and implement integrated treatment strategies that address both psychiatric disorders and related medical issues, ensuring a comprehensive care framework.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies tailored to each patient's diverse needs to foster growth and healing.
• Work collaboratively with a network of medical providers to synchronize care plans, enhance treatment outcomes, and streamline patient journeys.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, helping to stabilize their conditions effectively.
• Empower patients by educating them on the interplay between mental and physical health, fostering their ability to manage their conditions.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record software.
• Engage actively in team meetings and interdisciplinary case conferences, contributing to the continuous improvement of care delivery.
• Remain knowledgeable about the current developments in integrated mental health care through ongoing professional development and training.

This role focuses on serving a diverse patient demographic, including individuals dealing with complex conditions such as substance use disorders, autoimmune diseases, and chronic pain. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing their mental health needs, supporting them through multifaceted challenges.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.
• Proven experience addressing the mental health requirements of patients with co-occurring medical disorders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with patients and their families.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering strictly to ethical guidelines while ensuring confidentiality.
• Proficiency with various computer applications and electronic health record systems for efficient documentation and communication.
• Ability to collaborate seamlessly as part of an interdisciplinary care team to enhance patient outcomes.
