Job description

SBDigital is seeking a paid, full-time Political Graphic Design Fellow for a 90-day paid fellowship with the potential to become a full-time Associate through the remainder of the election cycle. This fellowship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience designing creative for Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations across the country.

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in graphic design and political digital marketing, is eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work closely with the SBDigital design team to support the development of a wide range of creative assets used in high-impact campaigns.

This is a 100% remote position.


Responsibilities
  • Assist with the design and production of digital advertising creatives across platforms
  • Design social media graphics, email graphics, and fundraising visuals
  • Contribute to creative projects including infographics, logos, and marketing materials
  • Assist in the design of direct mail pieces and print collateral
  • Support updates and builds for campaign websites and landing pages
  • Collaborate with the design and accounts teams to execute creative aligned with campaign goals

Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (required)
  • Familiarity with Canva and Figma and additional Adobe Creative Suite tools such as After Effects, InDesign, or Premiere Pro is a plus
  • Interest in or experience with WordPress website design and development, particularly using Elementor
  • Exposure to video editing, motion graphics, or animation is strongly preferred
  • Understanding of social media platforms and digital content formats
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Tech-savvy, adaptable, and able to quickly learn new tools and workflows
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • A passion for design and helping progressive causes win
