• Conduct thorough and sensitive mental health assessments that account for existing medical conditions impacting patients’ mental well-being.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that effectively address both psychiatric and medical concerns, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, customizing approaches based on the unique needs of each client and promoting a supportive atmosphere conducive to growth.
• Partner with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care, collaborating on treatment strategies to optimize client outcomes.
• Provide timely crisis intervention services to assist clients during mental health emergencies, demonstrating sensitivity and expertise.
• Empower patients with education about the connection between mental health and physical well-being, encouraging proactive management of their health.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Engage in regular team meetings and case conferencing to collaboratively assess treatment effectiveness and strategize interventions.
• Stay informed on latest research, trends, and best practices regarding integrated care to continuously enhance clinical skills.

In this role, you will serve a diverse group of patients, many of whom present with co-occurring medical and mental health conditions. This includes individuals dealing with chronic illnesses, substance abuse issues, and various mood or anxiety disorders. Your ability to empathize and connect with clients from various backgrounds will be vital in establishing a therapeutic alliance and fostering recovery.

• Required: Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid licensure as an LMHC, LICSW, Psychologist, or LMFT in Washington State.
• Proficiency in handling mental health challenges for individuals with complex, co-occurring medical needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering an atmosphere of trust and openness.
• A strong commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Previous experience providing integrated care in an outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and crisis intervention techniques.
• A background in working with the patient demographics relevant to our services will be highly regarded.
