Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite within our modern rehabilitation setting. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable work-life balance while ensuring that our patients receive dedicated and consistent care during operating hours. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical conditions to develop tailored care plans addressing individual health objectives.
• Manage an average patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring efficient and effective treatment sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide therapies that enhance patients' mobility, helping to minimize the reliance on medications or invasive procedures.
• Create and implement comprehensive fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual needs, promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to optimize the care provided to each patient.
• Monitor and document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately, ensuring continuity of care and quality service delivery.
• Empower patients through motivation and education, enabling them to achieve their personal health and fitness goals.
• Stay informed of the latest developments in physical therapy techniques and methodologies, continuously adapting to incorporate new best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Eligant Axis Behavioral Center, the patient demographic primarily includes individuals with orthopedic conditions, allowing you to leverage your specialized skills to make significant impacts on their rehabilitation journeys. You will work closely with patients from diverse backgrounds in a supportive environment that fosters healing and progress.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Valid licensure and certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and demonstrated experience developing rehabilitative exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR software platforms, preferably WebPT, is essential for effective patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A proven track record working in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Experience providing interventions that utilize contemporary physical therapy approaches and methodologies.
• Previous involvement in collaborative care models, as well as hands-on experience with patient progress assessments.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary range for this position is USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually.
