• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs, strengths, and challenges, using validated assessment tools.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families, adapting your approach to suit the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, addressing common mental health concerns and helping to build a sense of belonging among participants.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for all patients.
• Deliver crisis intervention services for mental health emergencies, providing immediate support and developing safety plans as needed.
• Educate patients regarding mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and community resources available to assist in their recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in patient records.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Keep abreast of new research and therapeutic techniques in the mental health field to continually improve service delivery.

The Outpatient Therapist will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing mild to severe mental health conditions. Our focus on inclusivity means that therapists will engage with people across various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses, enhancing therapeutic skills and cultural competency.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State.
• Solid understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches, with a proven track record in delivering effective interventions.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and provide care across diverse population groups.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients and colleagues alike.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience working in inpatient, outpatient, or community mental health settings.
• Experience in group therapy facilitation and psychoeducational program development.
• Demonstrated expertise in crisis management and intervention techniques.
