Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP MDG Enterprise Applications Consultant
As Principal Enterprise Applications Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations. You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design. You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization's financial guidelines. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology
  • This position may require extensive travel (or) relocation to project locations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Work with the various technical teams to come up with the future state solution architecture to support the MDG implementation
  • Execution of all phases of MDG implementation
  • Develop Solution/design recommendations for data modelling, integration, synchronization mechanisms.
  • Share perspectives about best practices, common technical issues & approaches
  • Hands on configurations on SAP MDG framework for Data modelling, UI modelling, process modelling, rules and derivations, BRF+
  • Should be able to review and understand Business requirements and translate into technical specifications documents
  • Expertise with SAP MDG configurations, replication configurations.
  • Experience in User interface modelling (Design and Creation of UI, Value restriction, Define navigation elements of type Hyperlink or Push button, Data quality, Validation and Derivation rules).
  • Experience in User interface modelling (Design and Creation of UI, Value restriction, Define navigation elements of type Hyperlink or Push button, Data quality, Validation and Derivation rules).
  • Have technical knowledge of MDG workflows, UI Field Property Changes
  • Have technical knowledge of ERP tables
  • Full life cycle implementation cycle with Blueprinting, fit gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutovers and go live experience
  • Preparation of SIT Test Scripts as per Functional spec requirements and able to execute SIT independently
  • Data Replication Framework - Replication of Master Data using IDocs, RFC and Web Services
  • Key/Value mapping expertise is nice to have.
  • Expertise with SAP MDG development/ customizations for Data modelling, UI modelling, process modelling, rules and derivations, BRF+, replication configurations.
  • Have technical knowledge and hands on customization for MDG workflows, Floor Plan Manager, WDABAP, BRF+ (Decision Table configurations and BAdI Implementations)
  • Hands on development in Data Quality BAdIs (Validations, Derivations), ABAP, WDABAP framework based customizations in SAP MDG.
  • FPM and UI customizations
  • Data replication framework customizations (IDocs, RFC and Web Services)
  • Knowledge on MDG APIs and it's use cases.
  • Technical development for SAP MDG, design of technical solutions. Understand the FIT gaps and suggest for workarounds for the SAP MDG
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well versed in English. Excellent spoken and written skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Responsibility of large implementation team.
  • Onsite and offshore coordination
  • Project planning and status management for implementation in an AGILE - Scrum fashion.
  • Should be able to use tools provided by project team to access defects, incidents etc.(Dynamics, RevTracks, JIRA)
  • Experience in User interface modelling (Design and Creation of UI, Value restriction, Define navigation elements of type Hyperlink or Push button, Data quality, Validation and Derivation rules).
  • Extensive ECC and/or S/4 HANA experience with experience in other SAP modules like MM/SD will be added advantage.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ : $116700 to $150000
