Job description

About Lexicon and Cordell & Cordell:

Cordell & Cordell is the nation's largest family law firm, supported by Lexicon, a professional legal services organization providing comprehensive operational and client support. Together, we are committed to a client-centered approach, delivering a high-quality experience at every stage of the client journey. We invest in people who are passionate about helping others, building trust, and contributing to the growth and success of the firm through meaningful client engagement.

Job Summary:

The Paid Digital Media Lead drives performance and efficiency across the firm's paid marketing ecosystem, serving as the day-to-day lead with digital media, SEO, and traditional media agency partners. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director, this role sits at the intersection of media strategy, data, and technology — translating performance insights into business decisions, building direct relationships with platform partners like Google and Meta, and partnering closely with data science, IT, and operations to push demand generation forward. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable in a reporting dashboard, a media partner meeting, and a cross-functional strategy session.

Responsibilities:

Media & Agency Management

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for Digital Media, SEO, and traditional media agencies, maximizing value delivered against contracted scope and spend
  • Manage and grow direct relationships with media partners, including Google, Meta, and other platform representatives, to stay ahead of product changes, betas, and optimization opportunities
  • Hold agency and partner relationships accountable to performance benchmarks, pacing goals, and quality standards
  • Manage partnerships with third-party lead generation directories, ensuring listings, profiles, and lead quality are optimized and performance is tracked against cost-per-lead and conversion benchmarks

Strategy & Insights

  • Translate marketing performance data and audience insights into clear business strategies and recommendations for leadership
  • Bring forward innovative media strategies, testing new channels, formats, and targeting approaches to improve efficiency and results
  • Continuously evaluate the media mix against business goals (lead volume and clients retained) and recommend reallocations as needed

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure media strategy stays aligned with website, UX, and product initiatives affecting conversion
  • Partner with data science, IT, and operations teams to advance demand generation initiatives, including attribution, lead routing, and integration projects

Reporting & Tracking

  • Utilize performance tracking and reporting across Google Data Studio (Looker Studio), Power BI, and other tools to identify actionable insights.
  • Deliver regular, business-impact-focused reporting on paid media, SEO, and traditional media performance to the Digital Marketing Director and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Monitor pacing against monthly and quarterly goals and proactively flag risks and opportunities
Minimum Requirements:

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a closely related field preferred

Minimum Years of Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in paid media, digital marketing, and media buying, with direct agency and/or platform partner management experience

Other Requirements (Knowledge, Skill, Ability, and Licensure(s)):

  • Hands-on experience managing paid search, paid social, and/or programmatic campaigns, ideally across Google Ads and Meta Ads platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable business strategy
  • Proficiency building and maintaining reports in Google Data Studio (Looker Studio) and Power BI
  • Experience managing agency or vendor relationships, including performance accountability and scope management
  • Strong communication and relationship-management skills, with comfort presenting insights to leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter who proactively identifies opportunities to improve performance and process
  • Hybrid work location: both in-office in the Town & Country, MO office and work-from-home is expected

Preferred:

  • AI-native marketer who is comfortable utilizing Claude and other AI agents to optimize media performance, streamline processes, and automate reporting
