Strong understanding of multi-user (pooled) vs. personal (dedicated) desktop models and user assignment.
Solid Azure infrastructure fundamentals: Resource Groups, VNets/subnets, and network security.
Experience with AVD cost management and optimization.

Configure multi-user vs. personal desktops - select the right model per use case and manage Company Portal / application-delivery implications for each.
Assign AVDs to users - manage user-to-host-pool and application-group assignments and access.
Manage and optimize AVD costs - conduct monthly cost analysis, right-size hosts, and apply scaling/deallocation to control spend.
Automate the AVD lifecycle - provisioning, image updates, autoscaling, and decommissioning via scripting and infrastructure-as-code.
Microsoft Entra ID - Entra join for session hosts, device identity, Conditional Access, and SSO/MFA for AVD sign-in.
Microsoft Intune - Endpoint management of session hosts, Company Portal app delivery, and controlled Windows Update rings.

Azure Compute Gallery / Gold Images - Building, patching, and versioning golden images for session hosts.
