Job description

Network Transport Grooming Specialist (Remote) 1 month ago Be among the first 25 applicants Key Responsibilities Preconfigure circuit ports and logical cross-connections in advance of migrations. Perform remote logical grooms across DWDM, SONET, OTN, and MPLS transport layers. Validate circuit migrations and confirm zero-impact transitions.

Partner with Network Planners to resolve design discrepancies before and during migrations. Troubleshoot alarms, latency issues, and discrepancies during cutovers. Safely decommission old paths after successful migration.

Maintain detailed documentation of grooming and migration processes. Qualifications Hands-on experience in circuit grooming and logical migrations in live carrier networks. 3+ years working with transport systems (Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, Infinera, Nokia, etc.).

Strong knowledge of DWDM, SONET, OTN, and MPLS transport technologies. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Able to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with planners and engineers.

Preferred Skills Familiarity with OSS/NMS systems used for provisioning and transport operations. Prior work in large-scale telecom or carrier-class environments. Strong written and verbal documentation skills.
