Work Environment

As a Telehealth Professional Counselor, you will primarily work from a remote setting, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to diagnose mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and marital issues, and formulate personalized treatment plans.
  • Engage with clients via video conferencing, phone calls, and messaging to deliver therapeutic interventions and progress updates while documenting all interactions in their permanent medical records.
  • Develop and implement treatment programs in collaboration with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Manage cases by coordinating care through appropriate referrals and communication with other healthcare providers, agencies, and family members.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and client progress in accordance with organizational and legal standards.
  • Participate in regular consultations with other providers about treatment approaches and case management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals and patient care needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The successful candidate will serve diverse client populations, including children, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. You will engage directly with clients through telehealth services, allowing you to understand and respond effectively to their unique needs in real-time. The role emphasizes developing rapport and fostering trust with clients to support their recovery journey.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage a high caseload while delivering quality clinical care.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong clinical skills, with a focus on establishing a therapeutic alliance with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a telehealth setting, including familiarity with virtual consultation tools and therapeutic modalities suitable for remote care.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and management, with the ability to implement effective strategies in high-pressure situations.
  • A background in family therapy and multi-family group therapy is desirable.
  • Ability to lead community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness and resources.
Compensation and Benefits

Mind Symphony Behavioral Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 105,000 per year, depending on your experience and caseload.
