  • Create robust, consistent measures using DAX; optimize with tools like DAX Studio and Tabular Editor; tune performance (VertiPaq, query folding, aggregations)
  • Develop clear, maintainable reports and reusable templates aligned to UX best practices and accessibility
  • Implement governance and security: RLS/OLS, sensitivity labels, workspace/app permissions, certified datasets, deployment pipelines

  • Support adoption and self-service enablement through training, documentation, and office hours
  • Monitor and iterate on usage and performance, providing ongoing enhancements

What you must have
  • 5+ years of experience building Power BI solutions in production environments
  • Strong DAX and data modeling skills, with deep understanding of filter context, relationships, calculation groups, and performance tuning
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query (M), Deployment Pipelines, and Gateway configuration
  • Solid SQL skills for querying, validation, and performance analysis
  • Experience with enterprise BI practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD for Power BI (ALM Toolkit), release management, and documentation
  • Working knowledge of Azure analytics stack (one or more): Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Delta Lake
  • Ability to translate business questions into analytical designs; excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
