Emotion Matters Mental Health Services, Inc. is on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) to join our remote team. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and comfort as you undertake essential responsibilities. As part of our outpatient office model, you will collaborate with colleagues through virtual meetings, leveraging technology to maintain effective communication. You will have access to necessary resources, including digital databases for client records and telehealth platforms to facilitate remote counseling sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete agency orientation and familiarize yourself with internal policies and procedures while engaging with staff members to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Prepare for client sessions by reviewing case notes and conducting thorough evaluations to understand each client’s unique challenges.
• Engage in individual and group supervision sessions, utilizing video recordings for training and assessment, enhancing your clinical skills.
• Maintain comprehensive client records in both written and electronic formats to ensure compliance and accessibility.
• Coordinate with partner agencies to facilitate additional services and visits that benefit our clients.
• Conduct consultations to collaborate effectively with other professionals, focusing on integrated care strategies.
• Develop and write detailed case notes, assessments, and evaluations, contributing to clients’ individualized treatment plans (ITPs).
• Support therapists by interpreting psychometric assessment results, providing insights into client progress.
• Attend regular staff meetings and clinical discussions to stay aligned with organizational goals and enhance service delivery.
• Identify and leverage agency resources to better serve clients and streamline service delivery processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily revolve around clients facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will be instrumental in fostering a secure environment where clients can explore their feelings, promote healing, and work towards their personal development. Emotional resilience and growth are at the heart of our therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• A valid social work license (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in accordance with state regulations.
• A clean professional history, free of medical malpractice claims as verified by a third party.
• Authorization to work in the United States is essential.
• Demonstrated strong clinical skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record systems and telehealth services.
• Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.
• Familiarity with community resources and networks relevant to mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $52,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
