Job description

We're looking for a Senior Data Solutions Specialist to join Procore's Data Services team. In this role, you'll lead the discovery, scoping, and delivery of complex data migrations, transformations, and data update services that help customers move trusted, usable data into Procore.

As a Senior Data Solutions Specialist, you'll partner with customers, prospects, Sales, Project Managers, Professional Services Consultants, and technical teams to assess source data, define practical migration approaches, and guide work from requirements through validation and handoff. Use your data migration expertise, consultative judgment, and project leadership to turn complex customer needs into clear, scalable, and successful Professional Services engagements. Join us to help shape how Procore delivers data services at scale.

This position reports to the Manager, Data Services and will be based in our Carpinteria, CA, Austin, TX, Tampa, FL, offices or remotely within the US. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

What You'll Do

  • Lead technical scoping and requirements gathering with customers, prospects, partners, and internal teams.

  • Assess source systems, data samples, formats, volumes, and quality to determine migration feasibility and approach.

  • Define data mappings, transformation rules, validation criteria, assumptions, dependencies, and customer responsibilities.

  • Draft and manage Statements of Work (SOWs), including requirements, estimates, risks, and pricing.

  • Lead complex external and Procore-to-Procore migrations, extracts, transformations, and structured data updates.

  • Manage migration delivery from data preparation and extraction through import, testing, validation, and handoff.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, Professional Services Consultants, and technical teams to resolve blockers and align delivery.

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert and contribute to team standards, reusable workflows, and process improvements.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of client-facing experience in data migration, technical consulting, SaaS implementation, or Professional Services.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Experience leading complex data migrations from discovery through validation and delivery.

  • Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, extraction, and validation practices.

  • Ability to analyze structured data and troubleshoot data-quality issues using CSV, Excel, JSON, or similar formats; working knowledge of APIs, SQL, or tools such as Postman is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills with technical and business audiences.

  • Experience with Procore, construction technology, ERP or accounting systems, or large-scale file migrations is a plus.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range:

90,400.00 - 124,300.00 USD Annual

This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.

For Los Angeles County (unincorporated) Candidates:

Procore will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records, in accordance with the requirements of applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act.

A criminal history may have a direct, adverse, and negative relationship on the following job duties, potentially resulting in the withdrawal of the conditional offer of employment: 1. appropriately managing, accessing, and handling confidential information including proprietary and trade secret information, as well as accessing Procore's information technology systems and platforms; 2. interacting with and occasionally having unsupervised contact with internal/external customers, stakeholders, and/or colleagues; and 3. exercising sound judgment.
