Data Engineer (AI & Cloud Platforms)

We are seeking a Data Engineer to support the design, development, and optimization of modern data platforms across cloud and AI-driven environments. This role will work across internal and client-facing initiatives, building scalable data pipelines, supporting machine learning workflows, and enabling high-performance analytics solutions. Position is hybrid in DFW area.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and cloud-based data platforms (data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses)
  • Support AI/ML integration by building feature pipelines, enabling model workflows, and integrating tools such as LLMs or vector databases
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including services like S3, Glue, Athena, and Redshift
  • Implement orchestration and automation using tools like Airflow or Prefect, along with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, dbt)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles with strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL
  • Experience building and managing data pipelines, warehouses, and modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based data services, along with orchestration and IaC tools
  • Exposure to machine learning pipelines, MLOps concepts, or AI-driven data workflows preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work in client-facing or consulting environments
