The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling and database design, particularly in relational and non-relational databases within the financial industry. The candidate should possess exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of data governance principles. Responsibilities: Data Modeling and Database Design: Design, develop, and maintain complex data models for both relational and non-relational databases, with a specific focus on Fixed Income Products within the financial industry. SQL Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in SQL, data querying, and performance optimization techniques to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. Data Modeling Tools: Utilize data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER Studio, and DBT to create and manage data models efficiently. Dimensional and Normalized Data Models: Expertise in building dimensional as well as highly normalized data models for Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) systems to meet business requirements. Cloud Infrastructure Technologies: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure technologies like containers, Kubernetes, and serverless computing, and their impact on data modeling and database design. Data Governance: Experience working with Data Governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica to establish and maintain data governance policies, standards, and processes. Build catalogues, business terms, technical metadata, and data lineage for effective data management.
