Job description

Our client is looking for a Project Manager to lead a data migration initiative moving company files from on-premises network drives into Microsoft 365, specifically SharePoint Online and OneDrive. This is a foundational project with strong executive backing, setting the stage for broader adoption of AI tools like Microsoft Copilot across the organization.   • Job Type: Contract (3 months)
  • Location: Remote, West Coast (Southern California preferred)
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about 70/hour W2 only

What You’ll Do:

  • Own end-to-end project management of a network-drive-to-Microsoft 365 migration, including planning, scheduling, and execution
  • Build and manage a project timeline targeting full completion within 6 months
  • Coordinate file migration into SharePoint Online and OneDrive in a way that supports downstream AI tool adoption
  • Manage licensing rollout planning, including provisioning across distributed and field-based user groups
  • Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive sponsors
