The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in healthcare data migration with excellent analytical, communication, and customer-facing skills.
Responsibilities and Competencies

  • Analyse and assess data from legacy healthcare applications to determine data structures, formats, and relationships
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals and technical teams to identify critical clinical data and establish data migration priorities

  • Ensure successful data migration into the clinical data repository, following best practices for data mapping, transformation, and integration
  • Develop and execute scripts, queries, and processes to move data from legacy systems to the new repository
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of the migrated data and conduct post-migration validation
  • Collaborate with project managers, development engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure migration tasks are completed on time and in line with project objectives
  • Recognise project risks, roadblocks, and deficiencies and report to Project Management before they impact the project's timelines, goals, and budget
  • Produce detailed reports and documentation on data extraction, transformation, and migration processes
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and issues with the migration team and clients as required
  • Assist with the qualification, scoping, and sales process for “non-standard” service offerings and assist with SOW and design specification creation to support such engagements
  • Ability to work “off-hours” on occasion during projects to minimise the impact on hospital staff

Required Skills & Experience
