Our goal is to be the most efficient producer of engineered systems and our customers' strategic partner of choice. A crucial part of OI's journey is the investment in a new ERP system. With a modern, common platform, OI will unlock the benefits of its scale, deliver a better customer experience, and build a foundation for continuous process improvement.
We are seeking a Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist to support both ongoing ERP conversion initiatives and steady-state master data governance in a dynamic, manufacturing-focused environment.
This role is ideal for a business-minded SAP professional who understands how master data drives operational execution - not just how to enter it. You will partner with business SMEs, technical teams, and data leadership to construct, analyze, migrate, and maintain high-quality master data within SAP S/4HANA.
Depending on experience and business needs, this role will focus on one primary domain:
โ€ข Material Management
โ€ข Business Partner (Customer/Vendor/Employee)
Our team operates in a hybrid model of recurring conversion waves (every ~90 days) and continuous process improvement initiatives. This role flexes between implementation-focused work and operational MDM support.
Job Location
  • This role will be remote based in the US with periodic heavy domestic travel.

Job Responsibilities
ERP Conversion & Data Construction
  • Partner with business process owners and SMEs to define and validate master data requirements
  • Construct, transform, and validate master data using Excel prior to SAP upload
  • Prepare and manage SAP migration templates (Migration Cockpit, LSMW)
  • Perform analytical data review to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and structural issues
  • Support recurring conversion waves and implementation cycles
  • Assist in hyper-care during go-live and blackout periods

Master Data Governance (Run & Maintain)
  • Create and maintain master data in SAP S/4HANA (Fiori and GUI)
  • Support future implementation of SAP MDG governance processes
  • Monitor data quality and identify root causes of defects
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve master data processes
  • Support business users during hyper-care and steady-state operations

Job Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working with SAP master data (2+ years considered with strong background)
  • Hands-on experience in either:
    • Material Master (MM) in a manufacturing environment
    • Business Partner (Customer/Vendor) master data
  • Experience supporting an ERP implementation or migration
  • Experience constructing and transforming data in Excel for SAP upload
  • Working knowledge of SAP table structures related to MM or BP
  • Strong understanding of how master data impacts manufacturing, supply chain, or order-to-cash processes
  • Preferred Experience:
    • SAP S/4HANA experience
    • Experience with mass uploads and record creation
    • Exposure to SAP MDG
    • Manufacturing experience (Make-to-Order or Engineer-to-Order environments preferred)
  • Thinks analytically about data structures and patterns
  • Understands business context behind master data
  • Can translate between business SMEs and technical teams
  • Identifies root causes instead of correcting records one at a time
  • Is comfortable working in Excel to construct structured datasets
  • Operates well in a fast-moving, wave-based implementation model

Compensation
  • Salary range of $90,000 to $105,000/year
  • 10% annual bonus target
  • 401(k) plan / group retirement savings program
  • Short-term and long-term disability benefits
  • Life insurance
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays

What CRH Offers You
  • Highly competitive base pay
  • Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs
  • Group retirement savings program
  • Health and wellness programs
  • An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion
