We are seeking a dedicated Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team at Relationship Behavioral Health Services. In this full-time position, you will provide essential behavioral health consultation and treatment services as part of an interdisciplinary team within a Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) framework. Our outpatient office is a hub for psychiatric services, allowing you to interact with colleagues and receive mentorship through virtual meetings, case discussions, and team evaluations. You will have access to ongoing training and professional development to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

• Engage clients through comprehensive intake assessments, identifying issues, developing treatment plans, and delivering timely intervention strategies.
• Utilize evidence-based practices outlined in the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to formulate effective treatment goals.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic interventions that incorporate cognitive, behavioral, and systemic approaches.
• Collaborate actively as part of the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) to ensure integrated care delivery, focusing on the psychological aspects of health.
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations, utilizing software applications for data management and telehealth services.
• Adapt your approach to cater to diverse populations, demonstrating multicultural competence in your counseling practices.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development to meet internal credentialing requirements for clinical settings.

Your work will primarily focus on veterans and their families who may be experiencing a range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to stress related to their unique circumstances. You will help these individuals navigate their conditions, identify coping strategies, and improve their overall mental health as part of a larger care continuum.

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.
• Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements related to mental health provision.
• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients or individuals facing substance abuse issues.
• Skills in assessment, diagnosis, and the delivery of therapy across both individual and group formats.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with telehealth technology.

• Experience collaborating within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Demonstrated knowledge of substance abuse treatment and recovery processes.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, specifically relevant to Veterans Health Administration (VHA) or similar environments.

The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $95,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, along with a competitive sign-on bonus.
