Vital Edge Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote position. As a remote member of our team, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule while working from the comfort of your home or any other chosen location. You will utilize secure video conferencing tools to conduct therapy sessions, facilitating a safe and confidential space for client interactions. Our technological infrastructure assists counselors in managing client appointments and documentation efficiently, allowing you to focus on client care. While working remotely, you will participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to foster a cohesive team atmosphere and continuous professional development.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions via secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring an accommodating environment for clients.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs, recognizing symptoms, and establishing diagnostic impressions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that are evidence-based and tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in collaborative care by coordinating with other healthcare professionals when necessary to provide holistic support to clients.
• Stay informed about developments in counseling techniques, therapeutic modalities, and industry best practices through ongoing professional education.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of experience in providing mental health counseling services, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques.
• Proven ability to conduct virtual therapy sessions, utilizing technology effectively to build a rapport with clients.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential in fostering a therapeutic alliance with clients.
• Demonstrated capability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and fulfill client demands responsibly.

• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client data and session documentation efficiently.
• Skill in implementing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Background in conducting assessments and utilizing measurement tools to track client progress.
