Patient Access Representative (Remote)Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Access Representative to support patient scheduling operations in a high-volume healthcare environment. This role is responsible for managing inbound calls, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance eligibility, and providing patients with accurate and timely information regarding services and appointments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and manage a high volume of inbound calls from patients, internal staff, and healthcare departments.
  • Provide information regarding clinic services, appointment availability, and scheduling procedures.
  • Schedule appointments for clinical and support service departments.
  • Route inquiries and messages to the appropriate department or staff member.
  • Support departmental call queues and appointment desks as needed.
  • Conduct appointment reminder and confirmation calls to patients.
  • Accurately enter and update patient information in electronic systems.
