Job description

PDMI is looking to add a 340B Technical Operations Analyst to our team! As a 340B Technical Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day technical operations of the 340B platform, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and operational efficiency. This role serves as a critical bridge between the 340B Account Management team, Product/Engineering, and Data Operations, supporting routine processes and ad-hoc operational needs. This position requires strong technical operations experience, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to proactively monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Since 1984, PDMI has provided pharmacy data processing and other flexible, scalable solutions to help our clients meet their business objectives. We offer transparent, pass-through pharmacy processing and other services for private label Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), vertically integrated health plans and hospital systems. In addition to Pharmacy Benefit Administrative Services, we offer 340B Administration, Hospice and Long-Term Care Services.
Why Join Us:
  • Best Employer: PDMI was voted Best Employer in Ohio for the 5th consecutive year in 2025!
  • Meaningful Work: Contribute to improving healthcare quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work with passionate professionals who share your drive.
  • Exciting Challenges: Every day brings new opportunities to excel.
  • Flexible Work: Fully remote opportunity with a company that cares.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily system performance across 340B platforms and supporting applications.
  • Identify, triage, and resolve system issues, outages, and performance degradation.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Infrastructure teams for incident management and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain system health dashboards, alerts, and monitoring processes.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound client and vendor partner data feeds including claims, eligibility, accumulations, and replenishment data.
  • Monitor data pipelines to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, failures, and anomalies.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders (TPAs, pharmacies, wholesalers, EMRs) to ensure successful data exchange.
  • Execute and manage system configuration requests including data import and export requests; ad-hoc system configurations; report and data access management.
  • Maintain and manage export configurations.
  • Validate configuration changes through testing and ensure accurate deployment.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Serve as the primary technical operations contact for the 340B Account Management team.
  • Intake, prioritize, and fulfill ad-hoc operational requests (e.g., data pulls, issue investigations, program adjustments).
  • Provide timely updates and clear communication on request status and resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows, automation, and monitoring capabilities.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to enhance system functionality and reduce manual effort.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and operational playbooks.
  • Generate operational reports and dashboards related to system performance, data quality, and program outcomes.
  • Analyze trends such as qualification rates, data failures, and system usage.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve program performance.

Word & Education Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare technology, data operations, or a related field required.
  • Experience with data integrations, file processing (flat files, EDI), ETL\ELT processes, and data validation required.
  • Intermediate proficiency in SQL Server scripting, including querying, troubleshooting, and data validation required.
  • Experience with process automation utilizing Python, PowerShell, etc. and operational management tools like JAMS, GoAnywhere, etc. required.
  • Experience with system monitoring tools and incident management processes required.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira and HaloITSM required.
  • Experience working with 340B TPAs or healthcare SaaS platforms preferred.
  • Strong understanding of 340B program workflows, claims adjudication, and contract pharmacy models preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to HRSA and 340B compliance preferred.

AI Usage & Candidate Authenticity:
AI tools may be used for resume formatting or drafting application materials; however, submitting content that misrepresents your experience, including copied job descriptions or unverifiable work history, is not acceptable. Candidates must be prepared to clearly and confidently speak to all experience listed. PDMI may request work samples, portfolio links, or other forms of validation during the process. Use of AI tools during interviews or assessments, unless explicitly permitted, will result in disqualification.
All offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check, including employment and education verification, as well as a 4-panel drug screen.
