Description & Requirements
Maximus is searching for a Data Coordination Analyst role supporting upcoming federal OPTN work, contingent upon contract award. In this role, you will transform complex business data into actionable insights that drive decision-making, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, you will analyze data from multiple sources, develop dashboards and reports, identify trends and anomalies, and support the design of innovative reporting and business intelligence solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with a passion for problem-solving and data storytelling. You will leverage statistical analysis, data visualization, and reporting tools to uncover business trends, perform root cause analysis, and recommend process improvements. This opportunity is well suited for a detail-oriented professional with 3+ years of related experience who enjoys working with data, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering insights that support mission-critical federal programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain dashboards, metrics, or reports and identify trends or anomalies.
- Support new reporting functionality as well as the development and improvement of new reporting.
- Design new data collection models to better collect information.
- Consult with leadership to identify data sources, required data elements, or data validation standards.
- Analyze data sets using statistical techniques. Communicate trends and patterns that enhance the opportunities to the business.
- Generate reports with market trends past and present.
- Understand business data needs and design business intelligence solutions to facilitate data gathering, storage, and retrieval.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Aggregates and performs statistical analysis on business data based on requests from project teams or senior leadership.
- Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed.
- Writes queries or reports to provide data for various analytical projects.
- Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement.
