The Media Analyst is an individual contributor role responsible for the day-to-day reporting and analysis of media performance. This role plays a critical function in monitoring media effectiveness, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize media investments and site performance.
The Media Analyst will work closely with the broader marketing and analytics teams to uncover performance drivers, diagnose issues, and recommend strategies for improvement. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and a passion for leveraging data to enhance marketing outcomes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide actionable insights to improve media mix, audience targeting, and creative effectiveness.(20%)
  • Build dashboards and visualization tools using platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio to create custom views of marketing revenue trends with paid media KPIs. (20%)
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret media performance data across digital and traditional media channels.This includes deep dives in to campaign performance to uncover trends, patterns, and optimization opportunities.(15%)
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs). (15%)
  • Leverage testing frameworks (A/B, incrementality tests) to validate performance hypotheses.(15%)
  • Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accessibility.(15%)

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree
  • Years of experience: 2+

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and media platform reporting suites.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio for data visualization.
  • Understanding of attribution models, MMM, and incrementality testing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset - Ability to interpret complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.

The starting rate is $60,000 to $65,000 annually. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended.
