Job description

CONTRACT INSIGHTS ANALYST, MARKETING - 6-MONTH CONTRACT
This is a remote position.
Work Authorization Requirement
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a curious, detail-oriented Insights Analyst to join our Growth Marketing team on a 6-month contract at a pivotal moment. You'll be embedded directly with the team, helping us keep pace with a high volume of analytical requests spanning the full marketing organization, from paid and social to brand and beyond. This is a primarily quantitative role. You'll spend most of your time working with numbers and data, though comfort with qualitative context is a plus. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment, love turning messy data into clear answers, and are energized by working alongside the people you support, this is for you.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Answer the Hard Questions: Field and execute ad-hoc analysis requests from across the marketing organization, including paid, social, brand, and campaign performance, delivering timely and accurate insights that drive faster and better decisions.
Connect the Dots: Synthesize findings across multiple analyses to surface patterns, tell a coherent story, and make recommendations. Not just report numbers.
Build What People Actually Use: Design and maintain Tableau dashboards that give stakeholders clear, real-time visibility into what's working and what isn't.
Dig Into the Data: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data across multiple sources with speed and accuracy.
Automate and Scale: Use Python to streamline repetitive analysis, manipulate large datasets, and tackle more complex analytical challenges.
Build for the Future: Help establish scalable, organized code management practices using GitHub, laying the foundation for a more sustainable insights function.
Communicate Clearly: Translate findings into concise, actionable takeaways for both technical teammates and non-technical stakeholders.
Be a True Teammate: Work closely with the Growth Marketing team day-to-day. You'll be in the mix, not working from a queue.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a data or analytics role; marketing analytics background is a plus
• Strong, proven SQL skills - this is a hard requirement
• Strong, proven proficiency in Python for data analysis and manipulation - this is a hard requirement
• Hands-on Tableau experience building dashboards for real stakeholders - this is a hard requirement
• Experience with GitHub for version control and code management
• Familiarity with marketing concepts: campaign metrics, conversion funnels, audience segmentation
• Experience with A/B testing, research design, statistical analysis, or data testing tools like Optimizely is a plus
• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance analytical workflows is a plus, though strong foundational coding skills are expected and assessed
• Automotive or EV industry experience is a bonus, not a requirement
• Thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and can manage multiple requests without losing attention to detail
• Integrity, transparency, and accountability. You hold yourself to a high standard and aren't afraid to admit when you're wrong or ask for help.
• Resilient to change and thrives in ambiguity. Comfortable navigating uncertainty and finding structure in uncharted territory.
Please note: Candidates will be asked to complete a brief technical assessment as part of the interview process.
