What Our Client Needs

Our client is seeking a Director of IT, Information Security & Data Privacy to lead and scale internal technology operations, cybersecurity programs, and privacy initiatives. This leadership role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution in a high-growth SaaS environment.

You bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution. You communicate effectively across technical and business teams and are passionate about building scalable, secure, and resilient systems.

What Youโ€™ll Do

In this role, you will lead IT operations, strengthen cybersecurity programs, and evolve data privacy and compliance initiatives across the organization.

  • Lead IT strategy, infrastructure operations, endpoint management, collaboration tools, and enterprise applications
  • Manage and mentor IT and security teams while fostering accountability and operational excellence
  • Oversee help desk operations and end-user support to ensure a strong employee experience
  • Drive scalability, automation, and operational maturity across systems and processes
  • Manage vendor relationships, software licensing, hardware procurement, and IT budgets
  • Maintain business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resilience programs
  • Develop and enhance cybersecurity strategies, controls, and security operations
  • Lead identity and access management, endpoint security, vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response efforts
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to improve cloud and application security practices
  • Support compliance initiatives including SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, and related frameworks
  • Lead privacy and governance programs across the organization
  • Establish KPIs, reporting, and operational metrics for IT and security functions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology, risk, and security matters

This role may include leadership responsibilities across IT and security teams and requires the ability to effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

What Youโ€™ll Need

  • 10+ years of progressive IT and information security leadership experience
  • 5+ years in director-level or senior leadership roles
  • Experience leading IT and security functions within a high-growth SaaS or cloud-native organization
  • Strong technical expertise across cloud infrastructure, networking, identity management, endpoint management, and security operations
  • Proven experience building and leading high-performing technical teams
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and security best practices
  • Experience managing and improving SOC 2, ISO 27001, and related compliance programs
  • Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with SaaS ecosystems such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Okta, JAMF, Intune, AWS, Azure, and cloud security platforms preferred
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are a plus
  • Experience supporting remote or hybrid work environments preferred
  • Experience with organizational growth, scaling operations, or M&A integration preferred

This position is hybrid and based in the Philadelphia Suburbs.
