Job description

Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

**Remote with ability to travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, Phoenix, Arizona on an as needed basis.

This position leads daily engineering, operations, analysis, management, and administration of tools, systems, or processes that secure the Bank's information assets and technology infrastructure. Assesses organizational networks, applications, or systems for potential vulnerabilities. Designs and implements technical solutions that strengthen security. Serves as a technical resource to management, associates, and business teams. Acts as a mentor and leader to less experienced associates in the work group.


Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering, administration, and continuous improvement of identity security platforms and related cybersecurity technologies.
  • Design, develop, implement, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions and integrations.  
  • Integrate SailPoint with enterprise platforms including ServiceNow, CyberArk, Okta, Ping Identity, and other IAM solutions.
  • Support identity governance functions such as access certifications, role management, provisioning, deprovisioning, and segregation of duties.
  • Conduct security assessments and identify vulnerabilities across applications, networks, cloud environments, and IAM systems. Design and implement risk mitigation strategies that strengthen the organization's security posture. 
  • Develop custom SailPoint solutions using Java, BeanShell, XML, REST APIs, ANT, and Maven. 
  • Build and maintain custom JAR files and integrate components to support business requirements. 
  • Partner with security operations teams investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. 
  • Develop monitoring, alerting, reporting, and response processes for IAM and security-related events. 
  • Assist in the development of enterprise security policies, standards, and governance strategies.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and developers. 
  • Develop and maintain front-end components using JavaScript, Angular, React, or similar frameworks. 
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to secure coding practices. 
  • Leverage DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, containerization, and cloud technologies to improve software delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in systems engineering, networking or information security technologies -OR- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in systems engineering, networking or information security technologies

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 6+ years of experience supporting cybersecurity, IAM, or security engineering functions. 
  • 5+ years of hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ implementation and administration experience. 
  • Strong Java development experience, including customization of SailPoint solutions. 
  • Experience developing custom workflows, rules, plugins, connectors, and integrations. 
  • Experience with REST APIs, XML, JSON, SQL, and web services. 
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies. 
  • Experience with secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices. 
  • Strong understanding of identity governance, access management, and cybersecurity principles. 
  • Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Experience integrating SailPoint with ServiceNow, CyberArk, Okta, Ping Identity, RSA SecurID, or similar platforms. 
  • Experience with cloud security technologies across AWS and Azure. 
  • Proficiency in back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or similar) 
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and security controls. 
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
