• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' history of substance abuse and any co-occurring mental health disorders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their treatment needs.
• Develop, implement, and manage personalized treatment plans that not only address addiction but also tackle underlying mental health issues, leveraging evidence-based strategies tailored to each client's unique situation.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, effectively employing methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to support client progress.
• Actively collaborate with fellow treatment team members to ensure the delivery of cohesive and integrated care for clients, fostering a multidisciplinary approach in recovery plans.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, primarily focusing on adults dealing with substance abuse issues, as well as individuals facing dual diagnoses involving mental health disorders. • A current and valid license in Massachusetts as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
• Demonstrated specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment is preferred.
• Knowledge and application of evidence-based practices to treat substance abuse and associated mental health conditions are crucial.
